AD CAMPAIGN

The exciting new advertising campaign features an exclusive range of clothes from a collection by top Colombian fashion designer Julieta Suarez. The photographic shoot took place in the beautiful cotton fields of local farmer Jim Bertao and his wife Kathy in Fresno, California. Efren Isaza, one of the most influential photographers in South America, well known for his work in the fashion and advertising world, directed the photo shoot.

Organdy, muslin, polished cotton, drill corduroy, chambray and pique are some of the materials that continuously define the designs of Julieta Suarez and without doubts, said Julieta, cotton is the one that fits best her work: “ Cotton is fundamental on each and every one of my collections. Besides its freshness, comfort and versatility, cotton is a fiber that allows you to die, print, wash, sew and fold easily with out losing its qualities.” Julieta made a collection using only 100% cotton fabrics in 2008, and her COTTON USA-sponsored work was featured in the photo shoot.

Unfortunately, Julieta’s clothes are not readily available in the UK. Julieta lives in New York City and her products can be seen at NY Design Room in Brooklyn, NY, and at her store in Bogota, Colombia.
